A very cool site, but would it be possible to add a factions catagory? Stuff like Alliance, Browncoats, Hands of Blue, Blue Sun, Mudders... Nightfire_ (Wed, 27 Apr 2005, 11:14PM)
Oh, this is an incredible site! One stop shopping for Firefly info.

What is the copyright on contributions, GFDL, some CC, other?
-Profiles/I am Jack's username (Mon, 13 Sep 2004, 03:49PM)
The site is set up under a "by-nc-sa" Creative Commons License, the details of which can be checked out from the CC link at the bottom of each page. Thanks!

Any thoughts on adding a Category Supporting Cast (or the like) for people like Badger, Patience, etc?
-Profiles/Blarg (Wed, 08 Dec 2004, 02:47PM)
Hmm... that's a darn good idea. I'll have to fiddle with that when I get a chance.
-Doyce Testerman (Wed, 08 Dec 2004, 03:36PM)
Done! And Factions!

(Now I just have to sort through and find more stuff on the supporting cast.)

Awesome site. I'm so glad to have stumbled across a reference to it elsewhere! I just _knew_ there had to be other Firefly fans out there! You're not only bookmarked, but I'm sharing.

((Excellent comment moved to technical FTL discussion.))

Very nice Firefly website - probably the most informative on the web. And it's all so organized, too. And HURRAH! SERENITY IS COMING! *does the movie spinoff dance*
-Profiles/Indigo (Sat, 21 May 2005, 12:24AM)
This site is great! I especially love reading the scripts.
-(Fear The Reaver)? (Wed, 13 Jul 2005, 08:06PM)
Wei! great job!!!
-Profiles/MEME (Tue, 02 Aug 2005, 04:48PM)
God I love you.
-Profiles/Mina (Sat, 06 Aug 2005, 06:26PM)
Well thanks! I love you too :)

Great site! I'm really interested in where you got the *GOOD* deckplans on the "Firefly Serenity" page (they arethe best I've seen yet too), and if they exist in other formats (DWG and DXF files could be imported to Campaign Cartographer 2 and converted to FCW format with gaming grids). Are there any other deckplans available there (i.e. Firefly Shuttle, colony transport, Trans-U, etc.)?
-Profiles/Dalton Spence (Tue, 16 Aug 2005, 08:36AM)
The new RPG book has excellent collor maps of the ship, overhead & side view. Vera only rated a rather crude drawng, though.
-Profiles/Darth (Wed, 24 Aug 2005, 07:43AM)
Please show a sistah some love and add Gina Torres's official website to the list! http://gina-torres.com/
-Blk Grrl (Sun, 04 Sep 2005, 10:50AM)
Done!
-Doyce Testerman (Tue, 06 Sep 2005, 11:17AM)
Great site! Thanks! Does anyone have the words to "A Man They Call Jayne?"
-Profiles/Kozmo Vashay (Thu, 29 Sep 2005, 05:10PM)
Try Jaynes Theme!

This site is as handy as a 'verse encyclopedia and just as shiny! Excellent compilation on the actors and the characters they portray. I'm finally getting the Mrs. interested in the show. If I want to spook her a little all I have to say now is; "two by two, hands of blue, two by two...". She hates those boys as much as the "inbred sons" on the X-Files. I'm thinking of puttin on my "sunday goin' to church duds" along with a pair of blue playtex cleaning gloves and wake her up in the middle of the night with a small black-lamp a humming in my hands!! Yee-haw! Bet I'd get more than eight seconds of rodeo time if I latched on to her as she levitated outta' bed!

Any particular reason why your wiki isn't a wiki (ie, I can't edit it)?
-Profiles/Jesse (Sat, 08 Oct 2005, 01:25AM)
Jesse, most of the pages can, in fact, be edited by anyone. I do require an authorname, which the wiki tells the author in big red letters when they try to make a change with no authorname entered.

There are a few pages, just a few, that aren't editable, which is due entirely to the scourge known as wiki-spammers: certain pages in any wiki are prime 'default' targets for wiki spammers, and as a result, I've password protected those pages to keep them from being edited by bots and random bastards.

Let me know if you're still having any problems.
-Doyce Testerman (Sun, 09 Oct 2005, 12:19PM)
Hey, great site. Let's all hope for Serentiy 2 and 3!

I have a cleaner recording of the opening themesong at a higher bitrate, if you're interested. I also have the closing theme that doesn't have any of the words in it. Let me know if you're interested: [email protected]

The ambulance from the Ariel episode has been found in a scrap yard in the Mojave, CA desert! Operation: Rescue Ariel Ambulance plans to salvage it for the Browncoat community:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ArielAmbulance/

Could you add the link? Or should I add the link? (I've never used a wikipedia before.)

For anyone who is looking for it: the Firefly theme (Ballad of Serenity) in ABC music notation format-

X:1 T:Serenity M:4/4 L:1/4 R:Ballad K:Em

"E"BBB2|"Ebm"BAA2|"D"AAAB|"Bsus4"G/2F>E4| "Bsus4"GGG2|"Ebm"BAA2|"Ebm"AAAB|"Bsus4"^G/2 F/2 EF2:|

Is this show really dead and buried? Any hope of resurrecting it? I agree with previous comment - there was some magic there. Fox blew it!
-Profiles/Anonymous (Mon, 07 Nov 2005, 06:28PM)
Shiny like silver, this site!
-Profiles/occono (Wed, 16 Nov 2005, 11:22AM)
Mmm River quotes, shiny. Great to surf, especially to the soundtrack :)
-Profiles/Shiny (Fri, 18 Nov 2005, 08:38AM)
hey i just thought i should let you know that there were some discrepencies in the time line, ya see if you were to jump forward the 511 years from the year firefly was released, 2002 to the year the show was set, then take note of the "six years earlier" doohickey in the pilot episode "serenity" then that would place the year of the battle of serenity valley at 2507 not 2511, 2002+511=2513 2513-6=2507
-Profiles/L (Thu, 01 Dec 2005, 08:33PM)
Isn't the name of the telecom company "Telo Fonix" rather than "Tele Fonix"? I'll have to double-check this but I'm pretty sure I remember noticing that it was "Telo".
-Profiles/Just Folk (Wed, 22 Feb 2006, 08:21AM)
Just an idea for a new weapons page, a subpage of Autopistols. In "The Train Job", after a fight in a bar, Mal, Jayne, and Zoe and confronted by a mob outside. The bald-headed idiot is wielding a Wildey Auto Pistol chambered in .475 Wildey Magnum. These were originally produced in the early 1980s, and apparently are again in production.

Just a thought- In general- for the uninitiated- best way to look at the Reavers is to compare them to the Indians in the typical westerns. Might make thing easier to explain to a newbie.......
-Profiles/"Dangerous" Dave Darnell (Wed, 12 Apr 2006, 12:55PM)
BTW- if you watch real closely- In "Trash" when Mal and (Yo Saf Brig)? are about to land- you will see a SR-71 flying past in the background....
