Morena Baccarin

Born in Brazil, Morena Baccarin grew up in New York City where she attended the renowned LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts, before going on to study at the prestigious Juilliard School. At school, she starred in numerous stage productions, including The Importance of Being Earnest, Loveís Labours Lost, The Marriage of Bette and Boo and Macbeth, spending summers on stage as part of the Guthrie Theater Lab, participating in stage productions of Jack and Jill and The Long Walk. After graduating from Juilliard, Morena began a career in film, participating in director Michael Rymerís largely improvisational film Perfume. She then went on to the role of Rebecca in Dan Kayís Way Off-Broadway, which won her awards including best actress at the Wine Country Film Festival. In recent years, Morena has returned to the Guthrie Theater, to star as the bride in director Marcela Lorcaís play Blood Wedding. Most recently, she has guest-starred on "Stargate SG-1" as the Ori leader, Adria.
